Nobody wants to command? Tribute fixes that. A spectator can volunteer to command a team, and gets a playing slot for it.
How it works#
- As a spectator, type
!tribute m(marines) or!tribute a(aliens) while that team's command chair is empty. - If nobody on the team takes command within 30 seconds, you are swapped onto that team to command, and a player from the team is randomly moved out to make room.
- If someone on the team takes the chair first, your tribute is cancelled.
Spectators get a reminder every minute before the round starts that they can volunteer.
Immunity#
The player moved out is picked by a visible numbered draw among the players on teams and in the ready room (not commanders, not spectators). Players who commanded recently are protected:
| Last time you commanded | Immunity | Numbers in the draw |
|---|---|---|
| Within 10 rounds | 100% | 0 (cannot be picked) |
| Within 20 rounds | 75% | 1 |
| Within 30 rounds | 50% | 2 |
| Within 40 rounds | 25% | 3 |
| Longer ago or never | 0% | 4 |
Everyone in the pool privately sees their numbers, then the system announces the lucky number and the swap. Check your immunity any time with !tribute info. Supporters are fully immune.
